Well, I'm finally recovering from a wonderful week at Sirius Rising. The company was superb (Catherine, Natasha, Shannon, Jeremy, Fiona, Alex, and Boyun), the henna flowed (so nice to watch other people apply it, gave me some great ideas), the food was fabulous (absolutely fabulous, especially Boyun's clams and Fiona's gyozas and Catherine's bread), and it was just an enormously great time in general.

Things I learned: 1. Latex contracts when it dries. It gives better color when wrapped in plastic. It is WAY too fun to pick the latex off. *Powdering* latex after it dries makes it much easier to deal with.
2. When henna is latexed onto your foot, do not put on a shoe and walk around all day. You get *very* smudgy henna!
3. Don't pick at the new skin! I actually pulled off some of my design along with the new skin. Remove with cocoa butter or more new skin.
4. Don't henna during the late afternoon at Sirius Rising, unless it is your hand. If you henna your feet, you can't go in the hot tub until you remove the henna! :-( :-( :-(
5. Everybody should go next year. It was amazing fun!

Zimra, hoping everyone makes it home safely!
