You say you get dye release in 6-8 hours at 80, is that after adding
hot boiling coffee, or 80 coffee?

Also, how long does henna powder last before going bad?

: Call Castle Art at 888-829-8018 and order with Visa or Master, or
fax
: 920-430-1976, or mail a check to Castle Art and Import 1525 S.
: Webster Ave, Green Bay, Wi., 54301 .

: Their new harvest shipment of henna is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I
: tried it last weekend and was totally blown away! Burgundy-blacks
: with no effort at all! You get dye release in 6-8 hours at 80F
room
: temp, so don't let it sit too long. In 10 years of hennaeing,
I've
: never seen color like this! You almost HAVE to use superfine line
: work to not overwhelm a palm with color....and the backs of hands
and
: arms are dark, dark, dark! The natural dye color of this harvest
is
: sort of raspberry-chocolate. The powder isn't actually all that
deep
: green...sort of olive really. But yeeeehawwww does the stain ever
: rock!

: I'm planning on ordering enough of the new harvest to get me
through
: the year, because I know that a henna field is cropped several
times,
: and each cropping through the cool/hot/dry/rainy seasons vary a
great
: deal...and this crop just in is the best of the year. I'll
: refrigerate the lot and hang onto this one!
