There was absolutely no difference in the spots where I applied
camphor post - paste with a Q-Tip. I didn't rub, I just dabbed on
camphor spirit.

I really couldn't feel any heating effect at all. The amount of
camphor spirit in the mix was far less than one would use with a
splash on and rub thing. I didn't do any prepping or camphor
rubbing, to eliminate that as a heat source. Presumably, both my legs
would have been the same temperature under the blankets sleeping.

The longer it's going now, the more difference there is between the
two. The color isn't different....it's not a dye thing, its a
darkening thing. I'm going to do more tests.... The color
difference is not as obvious as with/without NS, with/without heat, or
with/without a wrap, and it's definitely not the dramatic difference
of the ammonia trick, but it IS a difference.

Here's what I DON'T know about the camphor spirit test.....was it the
20% camphor that made the difference, or the 80% alcahol that made the
difference? That's the next thing to check.
