It's a far sellable magazine spread to say "Madonna Discovers Henna
and India, Infuriates Countless Gurus" or "Sting gets hennaed, does
tantric yoga and nails wife for hours" (does she have a lot of spare
time?) or "Gonzo $ Fabboo $ New $ Highly $Profitable $ Deeply $
Spiritual $ Cosmic $ Body $Art" or "Ancient Spritual Sex Henna Secrets
Revealed!"

.... than an article titled :"Thousands of third graders ask their
friends just after Diwali "gee did that hurt?" or "Thousands of
American kids get curious about curry, hummus and henna at backyard
parties while the other lot try BBQ chicken wings and pizza."

Getting into media doesn't make something true......... it just means
something got glossy for 15 minutes. The truth is generally pretty
quiet and sensible, and often makes lousy news.

Thank goodness.
