If patience is a problem, start experimenting with the EO's with high
terpinol and pinenol levels. I had some terped-up henna on last night
for 10 minutes and scraped it off .... next to henna left on overnight
... and the 10 minute stain was 75% as dark as the overnight stain.

The pre-fab hennaes that reputedly give dark stains in 2 hours all
include an intense scent of high-terp EO's (by descriptions from
users and my own experience) ..... so try the terp-nuke as alternate
to patience if you think that would work for you (and if perfumes
don't give you rashes). Frankincense EO, Tea Tree EO, Pine and Pine
Needle EO, Ravensara EO, and Cajeput EO and terpinol are the ones I've
tried so far that gave results approximating Earth Henna for speed and
darkeness (and fast demise).

Still the safest is patience, heat and sweat......
