Hi Lynn,

I don't want to address the henna that "fell off" the little girls
arm. You appear to have some intuition about this that I think is
right on target. And probably should not be ignored. Let it at
least inform what you decide. What I do want to address is the fact
that you would even consider going to the home of a person whom you
do not know...the home is off your beaten path...and this is a person
whom you suspect MIGHT not be giving you the straight story about
some other things. Please be wise and safe. If you consider doing
the design again on the little girls arm, I don't think it is
unreasonable for you to do it on your turf. This person is asking
for a lot. Perhaps it is your policy to accommodate in this way.
But the accommodation that concerns me is the one that takes you into
a strangers home. You don't know what awaits you there. Probably
nothing. But with all of the other red flags here, you have reason
to be cautious. She made it to the event where you did the original
design. She, therefore, must have some means of transportation
sometimes. Request that she wait until it is available to her again
and then use it to meet you where you know you are safe...another
event, your home, at the school, etc. Perhaps I was a therapist in
the rape crisis field too long, but when someone unknown calls you
because you give your phone number out at and affair and sets up a
situation with conditions that cause you to meet them in a place
unfamiliar to you...well the hair stands up on the back of my neck.
Just be cautious, aware and set up what you will need to be safe if
you indeed decided to redo the child.

Maureen
