Newbie question

I began my love affair with henna just this month! I have read
everything I could get my hands on, looked at a million different
websites, and have read several months of posts here. CCJ is truly an
inspiration! Your designs are truly amazing. I think what makes them
so compelling is the way the design flows with the form of the
anatomy rather than working against the natural lines. Thank you
thank you thank you! Okay, here is my newbie question. I had a friend
ask me the other day if mixing Iodine with the paste was a bad idea.
I called and asked Amy at Castle Arts and she suggested that I post
my question here. Also, is pomegranite worth the time and trouble?
