: I began my love affair with henna just this month! I have read
: everything I could get my hands on, looked at a million different
: websites, and have read several months of posts here. CCJ is truly
an
: inspiration! Your designs are truly amazing. I think what makes
them
: so compelling is the way the design flows with the form of the
: anatomy rather than working against the natural lines. Thank you
: thank you thank you! Okay, here is my newbie question. I had a
friend
: ask me the other day if mixing Iodine with the paste was a bad
idea.
: I called and asked Amy at Castle Arts and she suggested that I post
: my question here. Also, is pomegranite worth the time and trouble?

Well i don't know about iodine... it probably won't do anything for
the stain. But why not try it? it can't hurt can it? (I have NO
previous experience with iodine, so somebody please correct me if i'm
wrong about that!)
I personally don't think pomegranate it worth the trouble. Such a
hassle to pick out all those seeds, only to throw them in a boiling
pot! If i were going through all that i'd just eat it. :-) It won't
affect your stain color either.
