EO's - shorten paste's life span?

I used Aura Cacia brand Cajeput oil in my paste and am disappointed
with the results. The stain is a brownish orange after 12 hours.
This is the second time I've tried hennaing with this batch of paste
and the color was no better the first time.
I've order some "young living" oils...I had heard they were the BEST
and CCJ told me that she had heard the same thing so I thought I
would give them a try. (they do seem expensive but if they work
it'll be worth the cost)
I also found that my paste (made with the cajeput oil) is only good
for 2 maybe 3 days max (kept in the fridge) after that the stain is
almost non-existent. Has anyone else noticed this?
