Just to say, I don't think you should be so elitist and rude about
the people you call trolls.
The art of mehndi is a way of decorating a beautifying the body, and
who is anyone to say what is beautiful? Mehndi has been evolving over
the past 900 years, and the designs and art vary between continent,
country and region, so what is so wrong with it continuing to evolve
into the 21st century?
Those of you 'traditionalists' who refuse to acknowledge other
colours of henna, and less traditional designs, are as close-minded
as the people you complain about who don't understand henna at all.
You are not preserving a tradition, you are shutting it off from the
people who are interested in it. I'm sorry if not everyone here is so
against 'trolls', and I don't mean to be rude, but I personally have
received a lot of flack from people who think I'm inferior just
because I'm not 100% faithful to traditional design and colour, and I
think that is unfair.
