Does anyone else have this problem??

I wear sandals alot to show off the henna on my feet. I've always had
the problem of the straps across the top of my feet seem to rub off
the design that's underneath them. It doesn't seem to matter whether
the leather is "rough" on the back side or smooth. Does anyone else
have this problem, and is so, any suggestions???
