A couple of things I forgot to add...

I am using Mehndi MUD on my customers. I decided the extra cost was
worth consistent results. I am still tweaking my own recipe and
havent been able to find a good consistent recipe that gives me
fairly consistent color. I did a back and front design on my left
hand with the MUD so I would have something to show people when they
ask what it looks like. I did my usual thing, henna, NS, cotton and
Coach tape. when I unwrapped it yesterday morning I was KNOCKED OUT!
Already it was darker than I usually get even with Jamila. After a
day and a half The back has darkened to a Gorgeous Dark brown with a
touch of cinnamon, dark chocolate on the knuckles and the palm is
even darker! I am sold! Now I can see why Mystie is so crazy about
it!
I had a really slow day yesterday but today was a LOT better! I made
more than three times what I did yesterday! Mostly it was small
inexpensive pops, but I had a couple of bigger ones, a full hand that
went up the forearm and a palm The bigger one on the back of the hand
was one of your dancing in the moonlight designs Cathrine! It turned
out really pretty! I did have more fun , so thats what really counts.
I think the music and the new banner made a lot of a difference, I
had alot more traffic, even for a Sunday. One of the other bigger
designs was Catherine's Hebrew Peace design. I might be doing that
one again for my neighbor in the next booth, she LOVED it, and says
she wants me to do it for her. I hope to post again next weekend with
more good stories. Til then hope everyone has a good week!
