Rangoli is a women's art form that runs parallel to henna ... and one
that I love and have often wished I had more opportunities to use.

This weekend I did a rangoli project to work myself through the
feelings of the weeks events. I greatly recommend it as a process of
physical prayer and devotion, (particularly if you are like myself in
that you tend to break out in hives at the usual sort of rituals).

Once accomplished, it did me a great good, and was enjoyed by many
other people, a few of whom participated in the making, and more whom
participated in the dance.
