I tried methi seeds and it didn't give me the gooiness I was trying
for. I simmered them with the tea. Is that what you do?
How do you use okra? I got some and boiled it. (That was hard for a
southern girl to do. I was almost overcome by the urge to dredge it
in flour and fry up a batch at 7 in the morning.) It was very
gelationus. I was thinking when the fresh okra comes in, I might try
dehydrating some.
I've been using glycerin lately and I'm pleased with it. It cuts
down quite a bit on the cracking.

: I've tried fenugreek before -- just makes the texture more gooey --
: like okra juice.

: No effect on the color, though.
