Fine lines and new skin

I've been doing henna now for almost a year. Unfortunately I still do
very basic designs. I'd love to do very intricate designs but I have
always had problems with fine lines. The lines usually dry so fast
that they have cracked severely and flaked before I even notice. Does
anyone have a tip on how I can get finer lines?

I also have started using new skin and I have a serious problem in
removing the stuff. It just will NOT come off. Does anyone have any
tips on removing? I have tried the steaming tip and it still doesn't
work well.

One more and I'll zip it :) I find that the edges of my thicker lines
blur. Anyone have a tip for this?
