Check it out; there was a BBC article today on "henna allergies"caused by PPD. It's amazing that the concept that PPD causes merely
an allergic reaction has reached even the BBC; I don't think that
people realize that PPD isn't just an allergen; it's a transdermal
toxin, darn it! I just emailed the BBC about their
misrepresentation, but it would be great if someone with more
background on henna chemistry (. . .you-know-who (not Voldemort))
could back me up. I'm kind of surprised that the article didn't have
more detailed quotes from the scientists it interviewed, who
hopefully have a better understanding of black henna than the writer
of the article does.
