natural henna and the fda...are we going out of business?

i am concerned... i got off the phone today with the fda and i found
out there is a big push to stop henna from coming into the US even
the natural 100% lawsonious inermis( henna) to be used for Mehndi or
body art. you can check it out its at www.fda.gov under cosmetics.
i can see if its the unsafe colors with the ppds . but to take away
the natural henna too... that would be terrible for all of us artist
and supliers..
