I'm back from my trip. I didn't have time to write until now.
Last weekend I went to New Orleans for my birthday. We went to a
couple of plantations, around the French Quarter and for a walk
through the Saint Louis Cemeteries.
People had American flags hanging from their balconies, others wore
flag ribbon. People were also selling flags on the corners of
Esplande Blvd. They even broadcast the National Anthem over the
outdoor speakers at a casino on Canal Street so everyone in the
streets could hear.

New Orleans feels different. Not in a good way. I don't know if it
has anything to do with the recent tragedies or not.
